A little about us.
We love being outside, but we often find ourselves neglecting the very activities that keep us sane during the week. So, we decided to start a business that lets us indulge in our relaxation every day.
There's something magical about being out on the water—it's like hitting the reset button on our busy lives. We've been paddling as a family for ages, even when our kids were just tiny squirts. Now, we're joining forces to share that tranquility with you.
We're not some fancy-schmancy company with all the bells and whistles. Nope, just a regular ol' family who wants to nudge you to spend more time outdoors. We've handpicked our favorite spots to share with you, hoping you'll soak in the gorgeous views and kick back just like we do.

Every booking is a semi-guided tour. We'll show you a route and it's up to you to set your own pace. Paddling tips are included and we'll be a few strokes away if you need help while in route.

We can help beginners get started or improve technique and can get you back on your board or kayak should you accidently check out the fish population.
Where We Paddle
Bluff Point State Park and Coastal Reserve, Groton CT
55 Depot Rd
This is one of our favorite locations. Bluff Point is a Connecticut State Park and truly a treasure. The entrance of the park hides the beauty it holds. From land there are numerous hiking/biking trails that lead out to the point where you see Long Island Sound with New London Ledge lighthouse and Bushy Point Beach. The river runs between Bluff Point and the Groton-New London Airport allowing for some small planes to make your photo shoots as they take off and land. On calmer days we can make it out to Bushy Point Beach area and Baker Cove to view the Shoreline and Avery Point. Rougher waters would make it tough to get that far for the novice paddlers, but it’s still a great location for beginners.
Plenty of parking but it does fill up quickly on the weekends. When you pull in go to the right and into the back parking lot closer to the water. Be careful how you park. The lot is big but parking too close to the water at low tide could bring water to your door at high tide. Road and parking lot are a little rough getting in so take your time.
Pattagansett Lake,
291 Boston Post Rd
East Lyme CT
A beautiful lake nestled in East Lyme CT. This is a great place to go if you are new to kayaking and paddle boarding. The waters are most often calm, and the nooks and crannies nestled into the cove are fun to travel through. In the summer it’s an active lake with fishing, boating and water skiing. Be sure to check out all the local shops and eateries the beautiful town has to offer.
Niantic River State Launch
2nd Street, Waterford CT

Also know as Mago Point, this is a beautiful corner at the beginning of Long Island sound that has some of the best sunsets. If you choose a day paddle, enjoy some food from one of the area restaurants and stick around to watch the vibrant colors explode, it’s truly spectacular. Our paddling journey will take us down the Niantic River with a view of the shoreline real estate. It’s an active river that provides a nice ride but if you’re looking for nooks and crannies to paddle into, you might not find it here on a leisurely stroll. Sometimes the waters can get a little choppy and windy during the day. However, more advanced paddlers can make their way to Keeny Cove or further down the Niantic River. With the unpredictable conditions here, we are holding off on making it a regular location. We are open to private bookings.
Great Island Launch, Old Lyme, CT
99 Smith Neck Rd
Breathtaking view in Old Lyme and great for bird watchers. Depending on the tide, this location will make its way North up the Connecticut River which is dotted with Osprey nests and other flying wildlife. A calm paddle and at times can get shallow. Heading South will bring us toward Long Island Sound and around to Black Hall River. Heading to the mouth of the river can be a little rough with boating traffic and the waters of the sound, but our kayaks are stable. Sunsets are gorgeous as expected.
